Wow!

It's hard to believe this is south Louisiana. We had seven inches of snow at the house. After three days without power, I think I would rather go to the snow instead of the snow coming to me. It was beautiful.

Well, fall shows are almost over. I only have one left. I'll be at Palmer Park in New Orleans on Dec. 20 from 10 to 4.

I hope everyone has Happy Holidays. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year.

Cookie Time

Hi Everyone,

I had to take some time away from glass to do a little baking with my little helper. Next we'll do gingerbread men. He really likes to break the eggs. Humpty Dumpty only fell off the counter once.

The weather has been wonderful for shows this fall, hope the trend continues. We had a great time in Ocean Springs.

My next show will be this weekend, Nov 21 and 22 at Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge. After that, next Saturday, I'll be at the New Orleans Art market in Palmer Park.

Hope to see you there and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Finally Fall

I hope you are all enjoying our fleeting bouts of cooler weather as much as I am. We may be lucky enough for the cool, clear weather to stay a while with us this time.
This is the busy time of the year, with shows coming one after the other, and yet I really want to go out and plant in the flowerbeds and garden.
For those of you who have placed orders, don't worry, I'm staying in the studio much more than I'm escaping outside.

My last few shows, New Orleans Art market, Canton, and Festival Acadians, we had fantastic weather for all. I hope the trend continues.

My next show will be the last Saturday of the Month, October 25, at Palmer park in New Orleans.
The next weekend, I will be at the Peter Anderson festival, in Ocean Springs Misissippi, November 1 and 2. My booth # will be 609 on Government street, near the intersection of Government and Washington.
Hope to see you there.

It's finally here

Hi everybody. After all these years of promising to have a website, It's finally here. I have my good friend and fellow artist Terri Kennedy to thank. She did it all and did a wonderful job. www.potterristudio.com . I'm computer "challenged"and needed lots of help.
I'm really going to try to keep everything up to date. It will be fun to be able to share my new work so easily.
My next show and first of the "fall" will be the New Orleans art market, at Palmer Park on September 27, from 10 - 4. Hope to see you then.
